Re: Hiding Some Private Collections
Definitely against this. Many many very useful and much-starred collections are private because they are, say, based on a specific list and shouldn't be added to.

Re: Finally It's Here: Mobile-Friendly Criticker
Yep! But there is an additionally issue, also present in a slightly different form before the mobile update. If, after searching, you don't add any of the 'results', ie. made a typo or the film you're looking for isn't yet in the database etc., you are unable to search again and must reload the coll...

Re: Finally It's Here: Mobile-Friendly Criticker
Seeing irregularities that I'd hope aren't irreversible aesthetic accommodations for mobile. Textboxes for scores are very small, same size as the arrows (are people really going to use these?) and can't even display three digits (ie. 100 appears as 10). The same thing is happening when 100s are dis...

I would be substantially more interested in your GG Allin documentary.

Re: "Mad Max: Fury Road"
I brought up the DVD to illustrate that the film was a large financial success regardless of its box office earnings (it was unlikely to be a hit with a widest release of 1000 screens) and that audiences weren't scared away by far more extensive uglifying than a buzz cut and a CGI stump in a movie i...

Re: "Mad Max: Fury Road"
The notoriety of and acclaim for that performance/'transformation' was on a level unseen in Hollywood since, probably, DeNiro in Raging Bull, and it's still the role with which she is most strongly identified by far. Of course it wasn't a box office hit, but the DVD was released right in the middle ...

Re: "Mad Max: Fury Road"
Have you forgotten how its "most bankable star" got that way in the first place?
