Re: Guess the movie from the image
Seeing that it appears to be a musical and the only musical I can think of the past few years taking place in L.A. is "Rock of Ages" (2012). But the issue I have is that the movie takes place in the 1980s and the Staples Center shouldn't be in this movie unless it was an over sight by the ...

Re: Is Criticker your list of "Every Movie I've Ever Seen"?
Adding movies to the database is quite easy. I've added a few they have missed. All you need to do is have proof that it exists which you need to give them the link to the movie's IMDb.com listing anyway (there's your proof) and a poster for the movie.

Re: Famous Movies Better/Worse than Books They Were Adapted
My biggest pet peeve with movie adaptations is when a fantastic story is taken, and turned Hollywood for easier audience consumption. Biggest example of this in my opinion is I am Legend. such. A. Terrible. Movie. So...bad... *spoiler alert* the novella was probably the coolest horror story Ive eve...

Re: Guess the movie from the image
I don't have any problem with any of that at all, Philamental. I believe the only real cheat is the reverse image method posted in the forum earlier. Also, I didn't have much choice for picking the second image. Anyone that has seen the movie will get the significance of the bathhouse scene but the ...

Re: Guess the movie from the image
Wow, I just tested it with the picture I just used and it immediately gave me the answer. And I had to kind of dig deep to find this image as I was looking for the particular scene that I wanted. Oh well, here is another picture...

Re: Guess the movie from the image
Well, I can't take credit for that. The film takes place in the same time period that Pieter Bruegel would have been alive so I think the props should go to the film's art department. Also, I forgot to mention, this film does go by two names. It is a British film that I believe went by one name that...

Re: Guess the movie from the image
Is it "Blood Simple" (1984)? I can't remember if Emmet Walsh's character had his fingers in a splint although he did take a pretty bad beating at one point but that appears to be the same gun he brandishes throughout the film. The picture for me immediately brings to mind that film as well...
