Re: Actors You Hate
Ok I've finally got one....John Malkovich. Smug man isn't he? It's not just the smugness in his unsubtle smile but the smugness in his voice. I don't think he's bad as a villain in a 90s film like Con Air but watching him try to play Hercule Poirot in that latest BBC adaptation made Kenneth Brannagh...

Re: how to deal with your own changing taste over time ?
I didn't know it was something you had to deal with. It's a pretty natural thing to possibly happen, it just happens.

Re: Canvassing opinions on TV series
Feeling very deprived of good new comedies these days now that the peak ones from the mid-2000s to early-2010s have either ended or are on their last leg and very few good new network sitcoms have come up since 2014 or so. I've gone through most of the 90s ones I wanted to see so now I'm having a lo...

Re: What do you set Films In Common Minimum to?
I think if you set it to a threshold that's too low then you'll get a bunch of people in your TCIs who have only seen 400-600 movies and a good chunk of those are popular movies so you aren't really getting very good recommendations here beyond the obvious ones. So for me, I've ranked around 1250 mo...

Is there a way to export wishlist in a CSV file?
Just wondering if it's possible to export your watchlist somehow in excel format (csv) rather than just exporting your ratings.

Re: Top 10 highest-scoring actors (10 film minimum)
Looking over my list it for the most part makes sense, with the exception of Philip Baker Hall. I have no idea how he got on there. Lmao I have the same thing, he's like 5th on my list after excluding TV actors and I didn't even know who he was till I clicked on the picture. Guy's had a role in a l...

Re: The Lord of the Rings - Extended vs Theatrical
I recently saw the extender version of the 3rd film, imo, the theatrical one was better. The extended one had a ridiculously long epilogue that I don't remember the original having. The story finished yet it just would not end and the annoying this is that Peter Jackson LOVES slow motion which may b...
