49. Middle-aged detectives without any investigative instincts or display of experience. 50. "I can do this, because video game." 51. Pretty action without impact or stakes. 52. Following up a big, cathartic moment with a smaller, less cathartic moment. 53. All streets are wet at night and...

Re: RULES that help you decide how to vote
My rules are very intuitive and basically based on severity of resonance. If you will. Not necessarily of how long it resonates with me. But how strongly it does. Even if it's immediately over once the credits kick in. Sometimes I need to wait a little for the maximum possible resonance to build up....

Re: How do you rate movies you have seen a long time ago ?
I usually base it on how vivid my memories of it are. With some movies, you remember what they meant to you as a kid, or how often you saw them. Those things usually increase my confidence when giving high ratings. But of course you're not gonna be accurate. I think I had The Lion King at 80 and dro...

Re: How granular are your ratings ?
Being used to imdb I was always a little frustrated there weren't more rating options. So criticker was a revelation, but also a little overwhelming at first. Initially I based all my rankings on my imdb scores and then rockpaperscissored a little within the tiers. So weaker 7s would get a 67, solid...
