Re: Image Game Tournament 2018 - DISCUSSION THREAD - DO NOT POST GUESSES HERE

I'll throw my name in to make a round. Although in fairness pretty much any time I've ever managed to luck into winning a round in the image game thread I try to pick images that seem obtuse yet still somehow "of the film" and people get them right away so I'll volunteer for an early round...

Just a thought but next year you could base images off movies I've seen so I'll actually have a chance. :)

Seriously though, thanks for all the work putting this together. It's pretty cool. And congrats to everyone who is significantly better/more motivated to do detective work than me.

Re: On The Topic of Rating Video Games

I would suggest not confusing well design mechanics and hard/demanding mechanics. The former can be easy or hand the later can be well designed or shit.

Contrary to your accusations, I just have an eye for crime. And she participated in the disabling of a smoke detector on an airplane which is a felony according to FAA regulations.

Re: The Ten Worst Films of 2017

I didn't watch to much in terms of TV or movies in 2017. Just happened that way. Pretty much everything I ranked was at least passable. The lone stand out piece of utter worthless garbage was Neflix's Narvel's Iron Fist. Truly a waste. I detest that show with a passion.

Re: Question about Hollywood movies and Credit Cards

I was always under the impression that if you lent your card to somebody they would sign their own name and then any questions could be resolved by asking the card owner who hand legitimate access to use the card.

Re: Blade Runner 2049

it simply couldn't further any of its agendas for me. which i kinda think a sequel is supposed to? Your not wrong in that it didn't further any agenda, it just explored it in a different way. I think if I were to make a comparison, it would be to food. Same ingredirects cooked up different ways can...

Re: Blade Runner 2049

I've been thinking about this movie a lot since I saw it. My roommate was complaining that the "twist" where we find out K isn't the special one was kind of lame. I on the other hand found that it was pretty essential to what I viewed as the "point" of the film. I think ...

Re: The Briefcase (An original action short)

As everybody else has been saying, it sounded so good. Impactful but not cartoon-y. Some of those stunts look real enough to definitely be painful. The lighting was nice. The location was a great choice. Really well done. Also, like frederic said, definitely felt the John Wick influence. But the tru...
