The language information would be user-supplied (after an initial effort by us), and we'd use IMDB as a reference to settle disputes.

I think that this will be handled once we get to adding "Language", which seems to be a good indicator of whether a movie is really "German" or not.

Thanks for the note, though... we've noticed it too, and do plan on getting to Language sooner rather than later.

It's an interesting idea -- being able to manually set (or unset) the date of ranking. We'll look into this for the future.

^^^ to clarify mandarkzilla's bug, this happens if you don't add the film. Since we're posting collections bugs, when searching to add to a collection pressing enter doesn't initiate the search.
