I had actually figured out the language/brazil bit with the first image, but couldn't remember what the movie was called, and brushed it off as a really long shot, but the second clue told me to keep pushing cos that's all I know about that flick, brazil + raw violence :) gotta add it to my watchlis...

I have not seen it, but based on the writings on the wall in the first pic, which appear to be portuguese, and the general violent themes, I'm gonna guess city of god.
