Rogue One in my opinion is exactly what type of film Star Wars needs to focus on moving forward. New characters with self contained adventures. Dragging out a trilogy seems to result in major plot holes and less focused narratives.
Rogue One was darker in tone, visually stunning and very well acted.

I was excited to see it because GE's Monsters was so impressive for its budget.
