I have tried to figure out what movie this scene is from. I could have sworn it was from one of those old Fritz Lang films (possibly silent), but I haven't been able to figure out what movie it might be.
What I remember is a man getting on a train and having some kind of hallucinations. If I remember correctly one of the other men sitting in his compartment on the train was lifting his hat in a greeting, and then started to proceed to taking big bites out of the brim of the hat and grining wildly at him. Totally trippy. Possibly he was drugged and was running away from people trying to hurt him.
Any suggestions are welcome, since I'm totally stumped.
