I just heard it again in The Hard Way, in which it works as kind of a runner, with at least two more variations on the phrase.

Please help me come up with more examples! This isn't a Criticker thread, this is real life!!!

I appreciate the attempt at snark, my good man, but I instead of "sentimental" I would have recommended anal. I'm anal about my collections. I'm sure you get anal, mr. coffee.

But even in collections, as with everything in life, I operate under the guiding principle of "kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out."

Thank you for the suggestions! I didn't think to check TVTropes. Network definitely fits. I believe I will have to ruminate on how inclusive this collection will be. Like a golf course owner in 1960. Or 2020.
