Man this was a big disappointment. I went into this with my wife on my birthday hoping for a fun horror flick but that did not happen. First off the film is never scary and never even seems to try. While the acting is decent and the lead is actually quite good the dialogue is terrible. The lack of good and creative kills hurt the film as did the ridiculously stupid twist/reveal. Another downside was the secondary topic of the film. The topic of rape culture, victim blaming and the like are important and need to be explored but instead what we got was extremely heavy hand click bait memes/hashtags that did nothing for the subject matter.
