Women's Flesh: My Red Guts

Post by hotsake »

This was a surprisingly hard watch. I've seen plenty of gore films, torture films, and self abuse films and this one is no better than most. However I found this one surprisingly disturbing. The mutilations scenes were well done and the switches in video quality helped hide the low budget and the flaws in the effects how really it was the cameraman that made me the most uncomfortable. The way it was filmed really works in the movie's favor. It's not filmed like you are watching a movie and its not filmed like you are watching someone film themselves, its filmed like the was someone in the room with the lady(s) and that personal had a sick fascination in what they were watching which in turn turns that on us the viewer.

Could you tell a little bit about yourself? (Not asking your ID.)

I've always wondered about the people who watch this type of films.
They're more interesting to me than this motion picture.

I mean clearly there is a market for them.
Some people seek and find these. And watch...
I read on imdb that, in this film, there is a person who cuts his/her abdomen and eat the intestine. Nothing's even blurred.

I have absolutely no idea why anyone want to see that.
I'm not being funny or anything. I can't empathize, impossible for me.

So if that's not too much... could you tell a bit about yourself?

People who enjoy gorey/extreme films (including myself, although I probably wouldn't watch this particular one) aren't especially different or unique. As for why they like it, they get a visceral thrill, no different than why one would watch more conventional horror or action films.
