Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo

Post by hotsake »

This time we are simply dropped into the middle of the action and story with no context and we are never really given the context either. Okay, I could live with that, however, the characters have changes which was jarring and the change was not in a good way. But worst of all there was a distinct lack of a cohesive story, nearly random scenes and dialogue would happen with barely any rhyme or reason making this feel more like a bad clip film or a compilation of game cut scenes than an actual movie. As the credits rolled the only thought in my mind is that I wasted 95 minutes watching decently animated nonsense and flashing lights, what a letdown.
