Extremely low-budget Golan-Globus adaptation of the Saturday morning cartoon with Dolph Lundgren as the titular hero and Frank Langella as Skeletor. Oh yeah, it also starred a young Courteney Cox.

To be fair, I still think this is pretty good, albeit completely unintentionally; a wonderful example of "anti-comedy".

I have to agree. Ernest was a comic genius! I used to think Ernest Scared Stupid was a masterpiece at one point in my life.
Another one that comes to mind is Chairman of the Board starring Carrot Top.
