I'm very new to the site and recently did a mass, semi-automated import of Netflix ratings. My ratings distribution is pretty messed up and I wanted a way to easily view it. I made a small site to help with this and you're welcome to use it:

Just grab the rankings export in TXT format from your "all rankings" page and paste it into the text box to get a graph.
Note that I only put in support for 0-100 ranges. It would be easy to add others, but I didn't want to bother if there wasn't interest.
Enjoy,
Jim

Re: Ranking distribution graph
That was actually a cool little tool. Nothing surprising, sure, but it was neat to see it visually.

Re: Ranking distribution graph
seems pretty good.
Re: Ranking distribution graph
Neat tool.
Nothing too surprising here, either. The drop-off after 90 is pretty big, but I don't hand out 95s and 100s easily.

Re: Ranking distribution graph
Very cool, looks odd here because of my screwy rating system though.
Re: Ranking distribution graph
Indeed, an interesting tool, thanks. Lots of clustering around the 60-69 range, which I give the quip "decent".
Re: Ranking distribution graph
Cool, I've been wanting to see a bar graph like this of my rankings for awhile but was far too lazy to do it myself. Thanks.

Re: Ranking distribution graph
One gets the impression that people on this website intentionally strive for a bell curve so as to equalize their tiers rather than just rating things as they please.
As a lover of movies, I tend to like movies more than I dislike them, so my bell curve is slanted in a similar way to Shogun's, I would think, but I can't seem to get this to work, for whatever reason.
