So on this now dead Swedish version of Criticker, Filmtipset, (I know it's up again but it's a useless zombie) the URL to each movie page looked much they do here but you could also exchange the last part with the IMDB id which is very handy for integrating other sites and scripts with links to this place.
Just in case anyone got lost in my English above, https://www.criticker.com/film/tt0033467/ would take you to the same page as https://www.criticker.com/film/Citizen-Kane/
Is it possible to get this to happen?
IMDb id in URL
Re: IMDb id in URL
Thanks for the idea!
We do allow for users to search on the IMDB ID. If you type tt0033467 into the search box, it will take you to the right film. But we don't have plans to make an auto-redirect within the URL.

Re: IMDb id in URL
I know that you can search for it but that's not as useable, it means annoying extra steps and wait and (I guess) unnecessary load on the site.
Thought it would be an easy fix but then I don't know much about the inner workings of a webpage and apparently I was wrong. Well well, to bad.
