Let's say your minimum number of common films for TCI generation is 'currently X'. Now you have a TCI with another user. Now you delete a few of your rankings, so that th number of common films between and the other user becomes less than 'X', now have get into this bug - you have a TCI & a TCI ranking with this user, but you still get "Not enough users" when you go to his profile.
Thanks for reporting this and narrowing it down. You're right that we should be doing a check when you go on a user's profile page. We do check the TCI, which is why you see the "Not Enough Films Available", but we don't reset the user's current placement in your list.
We've written this down as a bug and will try and take care of it soon.
No it is still not working. I have my films in common set to 20% (127 films) but 3 of my top 10 TCI have less films than that in common with me. Generating new TCI does not solve the problem.

Hm... shoot! We worked on the TCI generation last week, and thought this was under wraps. We'll look again, and update here if/when it's fixed. Sorry about the continuing problems!
