The Ocular Snap (Original Short Film)

Post by JSchlansky »

I have a new short film coming out later this month in time for Halloween. The planned released date is October 25th. I'll add it as a reply to this topic when it comes out so subscribe to this thread if you want to see it.

The Ocular Snap is a horror short with an experimental edge. It's the second film project I've worked on since moving to LA, the first I've directed out here.

Heres the LOGLINE:
A young man with a head wound finds himself transported between day and night every time he blinks.

And finally, a couple of teaser images

nice! the rhythm of the edit is sweet (it's fun at x2 speed as well)#

the sound;s lush. and how there's a day voice/night voice. makes me want to listen to paul jebanasam

Glad you liked it. What made you think to try it at 2X speed?

i thought it might make it more like clatter montage, or jittery and frenetic, and like a fewer fps old silent horror.
it kinda does!
