It's a fair bit different from the original, which I spent some time with and enjoyed, but I like it. It's obviously taking influence from Inside/Limbo, but I think it does it pretty well. There isn't as much exploration, more things can kill you, a lot of focus on straightforward horror as opposed to the general unnerving nature of the original which was creepy because it was weird, not because it adhered to horror tropes.
