30 9% Killzone Shadow Fall (2013) - Mar 28, 2020
"Worst of the Killzone franchise by far and definitely feels out of place; like another generic sci-fi shooter got rebranded with this IP. I did not expect it to be this buggy. The vast majority of my deaths resulted from the game refusing to reload my gun despite having plenty of bullets, randomly pulling me away from iron sights and allowing hip-fire only, or getting stuck motionless in the open, caught on the game's horrible cover system when just trying to walk past any waist-high wall."
65 60% Call of Juarez: Gunslinger (2013) - Mar 03, 2020
"Call me Juarez. Bob Juarez."
60 49% Days Gone (2019) - Mar 02, 2020
"It's way too long for what it is. I appreciate giving people their money's worth, but the AAA trend to drag things out for as long as possible hurts the experience and especially hurts the story. It makes absolutely no sense to have a mandatory mission 40 hours in where you have to go fetch earbuds for a peripheral character. the last badass line is your character telling the antagonist he's worse than the zombies because they don't kill unarmed women... you sure about that? They definitely do."
55 35% Golden Axe III (1993) - Feb 20, 2020
"I can't remember if that weird humanoid-bear-rodent thing riding the dragon on the cover is actually in the game. If it is, I'll boost my score 5 points."
65 60% Golden Axe II (1991) - Feb 20, 2020
"Slap Arnie's face onto this cover. Yeah, that's it, right on that dwarf body."
65 60% Golden Axe (1989) - Feb 20, 2020
"low pixels, high fantasy"
75 79% Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus (2017) - Feb 13, 2020
"Gets a full 5-point boost from the main villain's death scene. At its best when it embraces a schlocky, grindhousey sort of ridiculous tone. Solid soundtrack except for the end credit song which is a weak-ass Twisted Sister cover. Grinded through on the hardest difficulty, but had to go all the way down to the easiest setting for the final boss fight; not a fun final encounter"
60 49% Mahjong (1850) - Jan 26, 2020
30 9% Jacks (1550) - Jan 26, 2020
"One of the best games if you need to throw the pieces on the ground behind you while you're being chased by an assailant who's barefoot"
55 35% LittleBigPlanet 3 (2014) - Jan 22, 2020
"Can't put my finger on what precisely it was missing, but it was definitely something... maybe the toy-story-bomb-level"
