95 - "There are many standout features of this Herculean accomplishment of a video game. The depth of characterization given to both old and new friends, the delicate balance between accessible and customizable combat, the essential doubling of time spent and things to accomplish in Midgar without feeling like things have been unnecessarily padded, and the investing manner in which the story creates the new while respecting the old. This is everything I've wanted it to be for fifteen years. Bravo."

100 - "My 2nd favorite game ever, a genre-blending masterpiece of the highest order. It's the best beat 'em up ever, with a deep combat system and gorgeous, long, downright epic levels, but the way it combines this with RPG systems is sheer magic. The number of endings and playable characters both boggle the mind, as do the playstyles, making it endlessly replayable. The fighting game mode, a mere afterthought, is excellent, too. And don't even get me started on the sublime graphics and music."

90 - "A hybrid of Beat 'em Up and RPG with nearly 50 unlockable characters and a story with branching paths where the decisions you make can shape the story. Great soundtrack too."

Deus-Ex-Human-Revolution Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Armilio's Most Popular Review
85 - "A case where the plot can be full of cliches, but the world-building and the atmosphere have something new to say, or something old in a new way. I remember just a little dialog, heard while exiting by Jensen's apartment, where a couple was in a middle of a fight because he get augmented but now she doesn't find him attractive anymore: "i need to feel human flesh on me, i'm sorry!" - "but we decided together!". The game is full of these little gems."

94 - "The best design and gameplay the series has ever had, but maybe the least relatable characters. Hope a better translation shows up some day."

What-Remains-of-Edith-Finch What Remains of Edith Finch - EbelC's Most Popular Review
80 - "Interactive story that's told efficiently, doesn't have you too much walking in the vacuum, and showing every single story inside it in a unique way that probably wouldn't have work in other media (movie, book, comic...). I would just suggest not over-exploring trying to find hidden things or clues that could affect the gameplay, you won't miss anything important, so over-explore just for the sake of it if you like (there are plenty of details, but missing them won't spoil it)."

97 - "This game set the bar so high for many video game genre such as platform rpg, metrodvania, indie games. Brilliant. "
