All I was saying is that playing by speaking isn't very hard at all. Most chess players know opening theory deep enough that the first 16-20 moves are all rote anyway. I haven't seen the movie and so I can't comment about whether it was done right, but I just tend to find chess references cringe-wor...

Obviously requires logic reasoning and a very good memory, both of which Holmes possess; Being the high level chess player that you are, I'm intrigued as to what you find wrong with it. It's just something I could do when I was 12. I also find most chess in movies cringe-worthy. Like in The Defense...

There are also films that are light on characterization or plot but get by as a result of some intangible 'feel.' In TV every shot has to count toward the plot because you don't have a lot of time to deliberate and edit. Personally I think there's nothing wrong with giving up on a movie if it doesn'...

Definitely for the tv series. There is a ton of content on Netflix streaming for USA. In terms of movies...eh. The search engine isn't particularly robust on my wii so I really can't find much unless I'm on a computer.

As to speed, do a speed test and let us know the results.
