When I think of chubby Asian actors I think of Eric Tsang...maybe check out his filmography. He's done a lot though, so good luck with that :)

Re: Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

Interesting, and I'm glad you like the film and the Sharon Tate stuff so much. I think Margot Robbie did a great job considering what she was given. Just to clarify a few points, as I notice all the talk about removing all of the Sharon Tate stuff. I feel I misrepresented the focus on cutting Sharon...

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (2019)

*****Spoiler Alert****** The way Quentin Tarantino made and promoted this movie kind of made me think of The Sixth Sense. That is when you watch it for the first time it's enjoyable enough right up until the end because you don't know about the twist. But once you see the end and reflect on the movi...

"Too Old To Die Young"

I just finished watching this on Amazon Prime and after mulling it over I've decided it's one of my favorite tv shows of all time, easily top 5. I could actually start watching it over and happily watch it all again right now. It's so far from most anything else in terms of content and style that it...

Re: Canvassing opinions on TV series

I just finished watching the first episode of Too Old To Die Young and I'm loving it. The cinematography alone is worth watching for. If the rest of the season holds up to the first episode it'll be one of the best things I've seen on TV.

thanks for sharing your experience. So I guess you are in category 3 then, inasmuch as you probably won't rerank Predator 1 without rewatching it?

That's right. Curiosity will probably get the better of me though, so I can see myself re-watching it. If so I'll report my findings.

Re: how to deal with your own changing taste over time ?

Funny that this should pop up right now, as this situation just happened to me last night. I'll re-rate something if I re-watch it years down the line and my tastes have drifted away such that the original rating doesn't reflect my current view of the movie, as happened last night when I re-watched ...

4000th film

The next film I watch will be the 4000th one I will rate, and I want to make it a good one. Great films seem a little thin on the ground to me these days, but are there any recent ones you'd recommend highly?

Re: What do you set Films In Common Minimum to?

50% - the maximum

I think the less films you've rated the lower you should probably set this figure.
