Alex Cox
Last night I watched Repo Man by Alex Cox. I remember reading that he also made Sid and Nancy and some other interesting films. Anyone have any recommendations? Repo Man was pretty over-the-top, but I liked its style. Typically I'm into foreign and independent film - and I haven't heard much about Repo Man before I saw it - but it was pretty fun.

Re: Alex Cox
IMO the best thing Alex Cox ever did was the DVD intro to Sergio Corbucci's The Great Silence.
Sid and Nancy is quite good, though.

I quite liked Sid and Nancy too, but always enjoy his introductions.
I made a collection of films he did introductions for.
On his site there are books of his introductions and one about spaghetti westerns.

It's a fun looking bunch of movies to me. I had a quick look and there are a few of these intros on YT if you search 'moviedrome'.
The Wicker Man intro is the first one, where he explains what a cult movie is, I like his explanation.
I did a collection for the Cousins intros too, there's a little overlap, could be interesting to compare them.
