Watched this 15-20 years ago when I was a kid.
Two aliens come to Earth in the form of two kids, a boy and a girl. They make friends with a group of boys, and at some point they're at an arcade where the boy alien tells the girl alien to "take a hike" because she's a girl.
It was shite. Ring any bells?

Is it one of the Witch Mountain movies? I have seen "Escape to Witch Mountain" (1975) and the quasi-retconned "Race to Witch Mountain" (2009) and I don't think it is either of them. I haven't seen the original sequel "Return to Witch Mountain" (1978) or the TV movie versions "Beyond Witch Mountain" (1982) and "Escape to Witch Mountain" (1995) to say if it was one of them. But the movie series definitely fits the idea of aliens coming to Earth as kids. Did the kids have special powers?

One of those movies might be it then. The alien kids could use telekinesis in the two versions I have seen.
