What Music are you listening to right now?

I'm not actually listening to anything at the moment but over the past few days I've been listening to a couple of albums by The Church: Priest = Aura and Starfish.

While driving to work I was cranking Recurring Dream and Apocalypse of Darkness by Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. Not something I'd typically enjoy but there's something appealing about that noisy-freaky album.

David Byrne and Brian Eno just released a new collaborative album called Everything That Happens Will Happen Today and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes either artist. It's not an odd experiment like My Life in the Bush of Ghosts was but it's pretty great. Sort of an electronic-Gospel-rock album if that means anything. You can listen to it for free:

I opened a laft.fm account. Considering the account is new and the number of plays is far behind the real number, it's still pretty accurate as for my favorite artists (although it also puts some bands I don't like half as much I did, say, a year ago, next to my favorites).
And, I'm currently listening to Dear God by XTC, a band I should really get to know better.

I tried to get into them some years ago and i remember that i liked most of their stuff, but Dear God is the only song i listen to sometimes by them now.

VIOLENT FEMMES - Blister in the Sun

Very Underrated.

Actually, of all the VIOLENT FEMME songs, Blister in the Sun is definitely the most overrated. Although, I do love the Femmes, that song is everywhere. I would have said like, Confessions or Kiss off, maybe Hallowed Ground.

One of my all time fave is the Tenacious D Soundtrack I love Kyle Gass & Jack Black ( His Movies are outstanding especially "be kind rewind and I´m looking forward to "Tropical Thunder"
