Top ten of 2010

Didn't see a thread for favorites of 2010 so here it is. True Grit tops my list as my only Tier 9 film.

1. True Grit
2. Black Swan
3. Kick-Ass
4. Toy Story 3
5. Winter's Bone
6. 127 Hours
7. Vincere
8. How to Train Your Dragon
9 and 10 to be determined.

I have yet to see The King's Speech and Enter the Void, which, going by PSI, could round off my list. The most "critickally overrated" films for me were Inception and The Social Network.

I know that many people think 2010 has been a crappy year for movies. But it's not without its standouts and there are quite a handful of them in my opinion (or maybe I'm just easier to please than most users here in Criticker). Lots of 2010 movies I have yet to see including some that might possibly be in my top ten had I seen them. But at the moment these are my top ten:

1. The Social Network
2. Inception
3. Winter's Bone
4. A Prophet (perhaps this is a 2009 movie? but I included it coz it had a 2010 US release date)
5. The Secret in Their Eyes (again, a 2010 US release date)
6. The American (hugely underrated in my opinion)
7. The Kids Are All Right
8. Toy Story 3
9. Lebanon
10. Vincere

Other notable films I loved/liked:
Fish Tank, The Ghost Writer, Mother and Child, Greenberg, Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World, Exit Through the Gift Shop, Animal Kingdom, Easier with Practice, How to Train Your Dragon, Kick-ass, Solitary Man, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Films I have not seen but might possibly love/like:

Quite a lot missed but at least I'll try to see some of them soon.
