Need Help! (About Test Screening Process)

I'm a non-academic researcher who's in the midst about "Hollywood style test screening process" research. I need some source material to working on (mostly articles). I do some search in google scholar (tens of tens of pages!) but can't find anything related to the subject. So, if anyone post some methods to find articles about "test screening" I'd be very thankful.

The short answer is that screen tests are worthless and don't mean shit. Some of the movies with the most incredible screen tests ended up being forgettable flops, and vice versa.

Maybe problem is in the process. Maybe people who made test screenings are unknowingly manipulates to get desired results (of blind producers). I need to be check these in scientific way as possible.
