increased max characters for username

i know it's a bit on the stupid side, but that would increase the creative ability when making usernames, and also would allow for more original usernames without need for numbers, which i hate. personally i wanted to use one that i was unable to when i created my profile, so i had to go back to my old commonly used username, i also have two other friends that were unable to use their first pick as well only because it was a few characters too long.

Edit: also if you're optimistic about the popularity of the site an increase is inevitable.

Alright, this is the first time we've heard this request, but we'll take it under observation. There's no technical reason it can't be increased.
