There hasn't been any groundbreaking films lately ( Except for The Dark Knight ), but here's my list anyway.
1. The Dark Knight
2. Iron Man
3. Hellboy II : The Golden Army

following close behind at no. 4 is Tropic Thunder.

Gonna have to agree pretty much entirely with this, although I would like to add There Will Be Blood to the list, even though 4 would be cheating. They're all outstanding.

I don't think Dark Knight deserves that spot, but that's how I ranked it. I found it a highly hyped movie. The bank-job comes a very close 4th. Wall-E and Iron man were highly entertaining, it was a long time I really enjoyed watching movies in a cinema.

The Dark Knight, Tropic Thunder, and The Mummy 3 are the only movies I've gone to the theater to see this year unfortunately.

Wall-E was the only one that was worth seeing though
