i'm on a roll with pointless topics at the moment. anyway, here's my favourite political quiz. i know they're silly and reductionist, but they're fun, so fuck it. my views surrounding economics are a bit complicated for this quiz to handle, so i wouldn't append the -capitalist suffix, but things are mostly right.
You are an anarcho-capitalist. 0 percent of the test participators are in the same category and 1 percent are more extremist than you.
I think they called me a socialist-democrat-crank or something Not so keen on this one.
It's also far from perfect but I prefer political compass - As a bonus- with this we could make a chart with us all on, I got Economic: -9.25, Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -8.21
Perhaps way we could make a chart for directors, wisdom of crowds-style.
Took the short test. Apparently I am a liberal patriot. Whatever that means. 4 percent of the test participators are in the same category and 29 percent are more extremist than me.
I hate these quizzes where you're expected to give a graded response to an absolute statement.
An obligatory referendum needs to be carried out for every demand by the population.
There's no room for "I agree in part" here; if you believe there should be any exceptions at all then you disagree with the statement as worded. How are subjects supposed to answer a quiz full of these sorts of questions except with a twitchy lizard-brain emotional response to the sight of certain keywords?
Have done both these tests q few times over the years. Remember when I started Uni (11 years ago ) the Polictical Compass was quite new and very popular amoungst us eager 1st year politics students.
There's loads of issues with both these tests, but I prefer the Political Compass if for no other reason than the questions are presented in actual sentences. They're both quite good fun though.
Anyhow I always end up of the left wing side of things.
