When I try to update my profile (just for a minor detail, not a name change), it says "username astrakhan is already taken by another user"... yeah, me!
Thus, I cannot make any changes.

You have to leave Username field empty before submitting. Not very intuitive though, would be better blank by default.

that message comes up for me too, and it shouldn't be there, but i am still able to make changes, it doesn't actually affect anything for me.
