how to reproduce the bug:
1. pick any film
2. select ratings tab
3. show > with reviews
4. order by > #stars (reviews)
actual result:
reviews with zero stars are excluded
expected result:
reviews with zero stars should be included (at the bottom of the sorted list)
In case this is not a bug, but the expected behaviour, then please consider this as a feature request. Thank you.
[noted] zero-star-minireviews are excluded when sorted by stars
Re: [new] zero-star-minireviews are excluded when sorted by stars
This isn't a bug, but we can consider it as a feature request. Thanks for pointing it out!
Re: [new] zero-star-minireviews are excluded when sorted by stars
thank you. In fact, it's the same sort of issue as "order by PSI" hides films (which, by the way, also has not yet been fixed)mpowell wrote:we can consider it as a feature request. Thanks for pointing it out!
In this thread over there, you said:
The same applies here:mpowell @ viewtopic.php?f=9&t=7464#p66042 wrote:You're right that it does seem to be a frequently-asked question. I suppose that the way it's displayed does say "Sort on" PSI... not "Filter and Sort on PSI".
It says "order by: #stars"
and not "order and filter by: #stars"
What's even more inconsistent:
On a film's rating tab, when you order by #stars, the ratings are sorted AND filtered, but when you order the ratings by TCI, the ratings are sorted but NOT filtered (i.e. ratings without TCI are not hidden but displayed).
So for the sake of consistency, I would recommend sticking to the same behaviour across your site:
- • database: sort by PSI should NOT hide films (not current behaviour)
- • ratings tab: sort by TCI should NOT hide ratings (current behaviour)
- • ratings tab: sort by #stars should NOT hide ratings (not current behaviour)
