Badland is a side-scrolling adventure/puzzle game for mobile devices (later adapted to other platforms as well). The player flies a little black creature called a Clone through the levels of the game. The player must avoid various hazardous machines that threaten to crush or otherwise kill their creature. The Clone encounters objects that can make it move faster or move slower, grow larger or grow smaller, or duplicate itself into multiple Clones for the player to control.
