I played the modern Anniversary edition. It's not terrible, but you can tell it's a port of an old portable game. It feels like it was made on a small budget, with everything stretched too thin, and a lot of things thrown in just to say they're there. What I imagine AI-made games will be like. I enjoyed the first maybe third of it, but then it started to really drag and get tedious, and I just wanted to finish it, but it went on for quite a bit longer than I expected.
