Hard west is a tactical turn-based strategy game set in the "wild west", with some supernatural elements such as demons. It uses a custom system based on assigning poker cards to characters for skill progression, rather than a more traditional system based on experience points. Between battles, the player can explore different locations and respond to events by making choices which can lead to different outcomes (in "choose your own adventure" fashion).
