NHL 17 is the 26th edition in Electronic Arts' long-running ice-hockey series. It is the first title in the series to be released exclusively for eighth-generation consoles. New game modes, Draft Champions and World Cup of Hockey, have been added, while the existing Be a GM mode has been revamped and renamed to Franchise Mode.
