Neverwinter is a MMORPG set in and around the Dungeons & Dragons city Neverwinter. It is a dark time and the city is attacked by a horde of undead lead by Valindra Shadowmantle. The player character shipwrecks in front of the city and proceeds to help defending the city. While the game uses the Dungeon & Dragon character system as base, it was modified to suit the action-based combat. No relation to Neverwinter Nights other than its setting. (mobygames.com)
