A phenomenal game that makes up for its lack of mechanics with great map design and decision making that actually matters. Despite everything about the game being primitive, I often found myself thinking deeply about my positioning and utilizing its simplistic skills rather dynamically. The game is punishing because enemy units can always be a threat to your units, but numbers are balanced to make it fair. This game serves as proof that a game does not need elaborate mechanics to have depth.
