The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition

I finished it and had a lot of fun with it. Funny, witty, charming, and still feels original. Great game, a true classic, and deserves that label.

Absolutely loved the feature of switching between the 'old-skool' game and the updated graphics. Really welcome reversioning of a classic.

One of the defining classics of the point & click genre, Monkey Island has wildly creative puzzles and a great sense of humor and personality. Loved the sophisticated cannibalist gags, boat salesmen, and ghosts. While at times the puzzles are daunting, they're not so convoluted that they feel impossible to understand or overcome. The improved visuals of the special edition are a vast improvement over the original 8-bit visuals, and the voice acting for each character is great.
