Begged by her former mentor Werner Von Croy to aid him in the acquisition of a set of medieval artefacts known as The Obscura Paintings, Lara Croft is once again thrust into a world of intrigue, betrayal, and danger when Werner is murdered, and a sinister force leads the police to believe her to be the culprit.
