We've just released a bunch of new bug fixes, as well as a couple enhancements to Criticker! Take a look at all of the changes, and please continue to let us know as you find problems or ways to make the site even better!
Enhancements
Export PSIs (Sponsor-Only)
Sponsors are now able to export their entire lists of PSIs in a variety of formats (html, txt, csv, and xml)! So if you want to save this data for your own purposes, such as tracking spreadsheets, Criticker now makes that easy. Don't forget that Sponsors also get their full set of PSIs and TCIs regenerated every single day! So as of right now, there are more reasons than ever to support Criticker!
More Intuitive Interface for Custom Colors & Quips
By default, Criticker assigns labels and colors to your ratings based just on the percentile. But that's often not what people prefer -- they want to specify exactly what a "Dark Green" score is, and use less generic phrasing for the labels... or even translate them into their own language.
We've always allowed users to set their own colors and quips, using a little utility on the profile page. But now, we've massively improved that utility, making it far more intuitive and easy-to-use. We've put it in a modal, and also made it accessible directly from your list of film ratings. If you haven't set your own custom colors and quips, now's a good time to do so! Just head over to your profile, and find the link which lets you "manually control the colors & quips applied to your ratings".
Bug Fixes
No LazyLoad in Compact List - On titles with many ratings, the compact list was stopping after the first "page" loaded, and not auto-loading any other ratings as you scroll down. That has been repaired!
RSS links for News dead/not working - This was a bit of cleanup which needed to be done, from a long time ago -- links to Feedburner were appearing in the code, but didn't actually work or go anywhere.
Too much weight for directors on Similar Titles - For titles both written and directed by the same person, the weighting for "Similar Title" scores was being thrown off. We've adjusted that, and it seems to have improved the accuracy for such films.
Add JustWatch Streaming information to Search Results - From now on, when you search on a film, you'll also be able to see where it's streaming ... thanks to our partners at JustWatch!
Profile image missing on rating modal - This was a weird, quirky bug... when you opened up a rating modal, the profile picture in the upper-right hand (behind the modal) disappeared. We've identified and fixed the problem.
That's all for this round of updates! Thanks again to everyone who's taken the time to submit bugs and suggest improvements!
