Updates and Fixes - 9 June 2025
Published 09 Jun 2025

We've just released a big new batch of changes, including one new feature that users have been asking for, since we unveiled the ability to rate TV episodes many years ago. Let's hop right in!

New Enhancements

Allow Rating TV Series by Season

Criticker now allows users to rate seasons, in addition to the series and individual episodes. We've totally restructured the way seasons and episodes are organized at Criticker, and you can now browse the various seasons of a show, rate them individually, and rate the episodes within them. Check out how it works, in this short explainer video!

New Notification: Favorite Filmmakers

When a filmmaker who you've marked as a "favorite" appears in a new film (or is added to an existing film), you'll get a notification.

Bug Fixes and Improvements

Make Private Collections Shareable - Previously, your Private collections were totally private. Even if you wanted to share them, you couldn't. But we now include a "share code" with every private collection, that allows you to send a link to whomever you want. As long as they use the link you've given them, they can see your Watchlist, or any other Private Collection you choose to share.

Predictive Accuracy Listing issue - There was a problem with sorting on this Sponsor-only page, which we've now fixed up.

Collection search only returns collaborative - There was a mistake in how we were displaying search results for collections, rendering it impossible to see results for anything other than collaborative collections.

Image refresh after profile upload - When you updated your profile image, we were reloading the page, but not displaying the new image. It was a caching problem, which has now been handled.

Typo on Sponsor Page - We were talking about all the "secial" features that Criticker has. So secial, these features... sheesh.

Direct link to episode submission - A typo was preventing people from quickly adding new TV Episodes.

Thanks again to everyone who's submitted bugs and sent in suggestions for improving Criticker! We hope you like the new changes!
