"Great and varied play style for a couch coop game. Love all the maps, immersive and nice colorful graphics. However the story is seriously a -10. None of the characters are likeable, I couldn't stand The Book, also overall dubious morals ("divorce is not ok" ?? they're clearly not compatible?), couldn't finish the game because of it. Seriously though it's a fun game just don't play it for the story"

"Not amazing but it was a consistently fun game to play. The graphics (mainly their faces) irked me in the beginning but I grew to like them. The map is vast, and has many different areas; you're never bored of your environment. Combat is classic FF (slightly quirky), it can be automated but you still have to put some thought into it and change the automation for different battles. Story is somewhat predictable and more bland compared to other FF games. Overall a good JRPG and a good FF game."

"The game wasn't bad but it was way overhyped. People said the graphics were sO gOoD but Every F'Ing Map is brown and grey, where's the fantasy? Story started off as a classic "fight for the environment/against corporations" but the ending is nonsense (and not in a fun mysterious FF way, but in a "well that's BS" way) and just tosses the whole story in the trash. Also way too many repetitive fetch quests. Overall game was OK, it's an enjoyable JRPG but one of my least liked FF games."
