"If you don't have a singing Baloo (or John Cleese, for that matter), and you're not going to take much from the original Kipling story, you'd better do something else impressive -- and here that's having trained animals in this mis-titled Indiana Jones movie, complete with a mechanical booby trap at the end. It's in a funny space: too romantic to be a kids' movie, but a little too slow and slapstick-y for adults. There were some fun spots (fav: the Indian rope scene) but this isn't a favorite."
