My top 5 (minimum 4 films):
  • 1. Ang Lee (6 films - 92.2) - Brokeback Mountain - Have not seen Lust, Caution
    2. Danny Boyle (4 films - 91.5) - 28 Days Later - Have not seen Frankenstein
    3. Akira Kurosawa (7 films - 90) - Yojimbo - Have not seen Red Beard
    4. Billy Wilder (4 films - 89.5) - Sunset Boulevard - Have not seen Ace in the Hole
    5. Terry Gilliam (7 films - 89.1) - Monty Python and the Holy Grail - Have not seen Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
I only have 78 directors that meet the 4 film criterion. Median of the averages is 78.75, which is where Pedro Almodovar, Harold Ramis, and Martin Scorsese sit.

ETA: Favorites and next film I would probably see. Agnieszka Holland, to my disappointment, is the only woman to actually make it into this list.
