TBS which asks "was the fall of rome inevitable given the circumstances at the time?" after years of having to emulate the french version, it's available on steam these days in english albeit with a gross color scheme. simple to understand, extremely tough to master although i imagine few have come closer than i. pro tips for surviving beyond the barbarian deluge: memorise each cycle, assign as few commanders as possible, let the tougher races keep their homelands. it's the greed that kills you.
