Assassin's Creed Liberation

Assassin’s Creed Liberation is a study in colonial code-switching. The "Persona System" forces players to navigate a Manichean world, trading the Lady's assimilated restraints for the Slave's invisibility. Yet, Aveline remains a bourgeois tourist in suffering, not a true revolutionary. The game offers surgical violence rather than systemic upheaval. It hands the player a machete but forbids cutting down the tree, presenting a reformist fantasy that leaves the roots of oppression undisturbed. - Full Review

The Bayou setting was cool and more interesting than the Frontier in AC III. Nice soundtrack in places and some nice locations. The storyline felt rushed, writing is pretty bad and the game has a pretty small scope. Absolutely not an essential AC game, but still relatively enjoyable.
