The game has occasionally obnoxious level design but this is a pretty fantastic mix between FE and FFT's gameplay. The level design often has creative objectives with both defeat and victory conditions, which gives a lot of different layers to how you approach levels especially considering how starting position actually matters. The narrative is extremely wordy but mostly milquetoast. There are amusing character banter and historical references, but the overall narrative is largely bland.
