Big Bang Age

2003
Role-Playing, Strategy
In the year 200X, a giant hole erupted in the middle of Japan. Called the Hell Hole, its appearance caused the sea to split and the lands to bend. The entirety of Japan was twisted out of shape, and dark B-crystals appeared everywhere, bestowing special powers to some people, mostly the younger generation. Special Students, as those people were soon called, became the object of fear. Japan became ruled by violence and terror and was cut off from the rest of the world. (Alicesoft)

Holds similarities to Sengoku Rance, but also does some things better. In contrast, BBA's characters feel more unique gameplay wise and there's a lot more crazier shit that happens. However, in contrast to Sengoku Rance the sense of unit progression feels weaker, it lacks the neat item system, and its post game is less enjoyable. Still, both BBA and Sengoku Rance are some of the best games you'll ever play. Both games have surprisingly strong stories, both in comedy and in drama.
